The Gujarat solo ride finally begins with the completion of the first leg of my journey! 🌄🏍️
In this episode, I continue my journey from Hospet with a long but exciting day ahead. The target was ambitious — 950 kilometres in a single day — and the destination was Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The route took me through Hospet, Solapur and onwards to Sambhajinagar. While a few patchy sections between Hospet and Solapur tested patience, the ride more than made up for it later. Post Solapur, the roads turned into a rider’s dream — smooth tarmac, minimal traffic and endless stretches of calm.
What truly made this ride special was the scenery. The highways were beautifully lined with lush green agricultural fields growing maize, jowar, sugarcane and more, making the journey peaceful and refreshing. With less traffic to deal with and near-perfect road conditions, the miles just melted away.
The Solapur to Sambhajinagar section stood out as the absolute highlight of the day — fast, scenic and incredibly satisfying to ride. As planned, I rolled into Sambhajinagar by evening, tired but content, marking a successful first leg of this epic Gujarat adventure.
