Forget Isekai. What happened to Fantasy?

“isekai is killing originality” is the phrase that has been tossed around, and for a very good reason. Although not all was great, each title used to hold their own uniqueness. Now, the mainstream anime is dominated by one genre, Isekai. But I think there's another genre that we should take a look. A genre that also promotes copycats.
