Yamaha NMAX 2023 V3 Review

During The Link sequel, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. introduced the latest addition to the NMAX series, the NMAX ABS. This new edition retains the beloved features of its predecessors while incorporating cutting-edge technology. The 2021 model is powered by Y-Connect, which provides riders with a completely redefined experience.
The NMAX ABS boasts a range of exclusive features, including Y-Connect compatibility, a Traction Control System, and a Smart Key System. Y-Connect is an innovative application that enhances the rider's experience by providing more data in every ride, such as fuel consumption tracking, maintenance recommendations, malfunction notification, recent parking location, and more. The Traction Control System reduces the drive to the rear wheel, allowing the tire to maintain traction and providing riders with increased confidence in varying weather and road surface conditions. The Smart Key System enables the rider to start the machine using the main switch knob without the need to insert the key. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is equipped for higher stopping control, with a 230mm front and rear disc for smooth braking.

The new NMAX ABS continues to astound with its exceptional features. It is powered by a 4-stroke 155cc engine, which is liquid-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder, 4-valve fuel-injected engine with CVT and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The Smart Motor Generator (SMG) ensures quiet engine starts and has a lighter and compact design. The multifunction full digital speedometer includes a bar-type fuel gauge, speedometer, clock, fuel economy data, and displays Y-Connect notifications when successfully paired. A 12V Electric power socket in the left-hand storage pocket provides a convenient charging solution for digital devices. Meanwhile, the right-side storage pocket comes with a waterproof lid that can accommodate a large 7-8 inch smartphone or tablet.

The NMAX ABS signature style and comfort are evident in every detail. The handlebar switch control has a convenient lever-style switch for cycling through displayed data. The Maxi seat design with a two-level seat provides comfort and plenty of space for both the rider and passenger. It features a 6-bulb LED headlight design, with four lights on the top row for low beam and two below for high beam. The rear stylish tail light showcases a unique three-dimensional design that is absolute MAX DNA.
The multifunction big luggage has a 23.3L capacity and can easily fit an XL Full Face Helmet. The 7.1L Fuel Tank is conveniently located inside the center tunnel and can be opened via a button press, with refueling done without needing to open the seat. The seat can be unlocked with an easy-to-access button, and its hinges have two springs that allow it to unlatch slowly and naturally. The NMAX ABS by Yamaha is an exceptional machine that combines innovation and style, providing riders with an unparalleled experience on the road.

Y-Connect Compatibility, Traction Control System, and the Smart Key System are exclusive to the new NMAX ABS only. The new NMAX v3 comes in Sword Dark Petrol, Power Gray, Prestige Silver and Sword Gray with an SRP of php 151,900.
