EP 47 - About those aeoniums

It's still summer and my aeoniums are still dormant, but that won't stop me from preparing for when they wake up in autumn!

My aeoniums are getting overwhelmed by the blue chalk sticks and the silver cotyledons so I decided to clean up the area and make some space. I intend to redesign my aeonium patch after summer.

When I first worked on the spot, I didn't know how large aeonium bushes can get so I initially planted my aeonium cuttings densely. Needless to say the grew pushing out lots of offsets and simply crowded the area.

I already did a massive cull back in spring, and I might have to do it again when autumn comes so it would probably be easier if I just redo the whole thing instead.

I have to wait for them to wake up though...
