Some gameplay of Diddy Kong Racing for the Nintendo 64. The video shows what happens when you take too long in a race, and what happens after that. Although there are two digits for the minutes (this would mean counting up to 99), for some reason the game caps the displayed race time to 10 minutes.
The track used in the video is Ancient Lake, the first track in Dino Domain. The video starts at around 9 and a half minutes into the race. You might notice that the game will still track lap times even after the timer reaches 10 minutes.
