Improve AQ Monitoring with EPA Sensor Corrections & Global Performance: Air Quality Forum Oct 2024

Welcome to the 7th Air Quality Forum hosted by AirGradient! We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming forum titled "Improving Air Quality Monitoring: EPA Sensor Corrections and Global Performance." This session will feature two outstanding experts who will dive deep into the advancements in air quality monitoring and how sensor corrections are transforming the accuracy of air quality data around the world.

Our first speaker, Dr. Karoline Barkjohn, a Physical Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will present on the "United States-Wide Sensor Correction." Dr. Barkjohn is part of the EPA's Office of Research and Development’s Center for Environmental Measurement and Monitoring, where she focuses on understanding and improving the performance of air sensors.

Joining her will be Siriel Saladin, one of our scientists at AirGradient, who will discuss the "Implementation and Global Performance of the EPA Correction Formula for AirGradient Monitors." Siriel's work focuses on processing and analyzing air quality data, with a special emphasis on particulate matter. He will provide insights into how AirGradient’s global network of monitors is utilizing EPA correction formulas to enhance accuracy.
