One day, the parents went to the city and left Masha in charge of watching over her younger brother. She was warned not to leave his side and was promised treats upon their return. However, Masha disregarded her parents' warnings and went to play with her friends. Suddenly, geese appeared and carried brother away. Upon her return, Masha was devastated to find her brother missing. She ran to search for him and eventually encountered various entities who offered to help if she ate their food. She finally found junior in the hut of Baba Yaga, a witch with a bony leg, playing with golden apples. Masha managed to escape with her brother, thanks to the help of a river and a forest. The geese caught up with them, but Masha begged for the trees to help, and they obliged. The family reunited, and Masha learned her lesson about being responsible.
