For the past years, I have been driven by a personal project to seek out and repair pianos at the edge of the world. This video takes us to Malawi, in the southeast of Africa, fixing a donated school piano. This video showcase the unique challenges of fixing a piano when you’re far away from the workshop. Broken pedals and hammers, Uber-flat pitch… but most importantly, you get to see the results of bringing an instrument back to life. The joy it spreads to local kids can only be understood when you see their smiles!
