After a day of train watching in Muncie, I went down to the Whitewater Valley Scenic Railroad to photograph two different Christmas Themed Trains. The first being the annual Christmas Train to Metamora, IN, and the second being the annual "Polar Express" to and from the "North Pole" just south of Alpine, IN. Unfortunately, while I thought I had planned this out well, I apparently didn't, as I ended up throwing times and shots off by mere minutes the entire time I was down there. However, what I did end up getting did not disappoint in the slightest. The Metamora Train was utilizing the MILW SD10 while the Polar Express was utilizing (my beloved) NYC ALCO S1. I did come away with plenty of good shots. It was a good chase!
