Video Recorded on July 8, 2024: Well as you all know, I FINALLY got to see these amazing elevators in there original standard for the VERY FIRST and probably the last time as these are currently being modernized! In other words, I made it here JUST IN TIME as this will likely be the only one video I’ll ever get (much like I did at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago back in 2016) because sadly, according to @LexieMediaTransit8516, there are only a couple original elevator cars left; one in the high-rise, and one in the low rise. Anyways, these are pretty busy, so I took only one ride to avoid having any confrontation as I’ve heard horror stories about a series of incidents that happened from this place. As a result, I’m definitely not the next person to become another victim of any incidents when it comes to elevator photography, especially in New York City as it’s certainly not as friendly as Aggieland (College Station, TX). That is mainly for hotels, but New York City itself has been pretty friendly in variety of other cases, such as letting me film the old historic elevators in certain buildings that may be private. Even if I did get denied, most times people in those places are usually nice enough and understanding to where they genuinely wished they could help me out. Installed in 1991, be modernized in between 2024-2025.
