In the most recent edition of the rally, held on March 8, 2025, the event was overshadowed by a serious accident involving a pre-race vehicle. The car overturned during a reconnaissance run, resulting in severe injuries to the driver and co-driver. According to initial reports, he and his passenger were seriously injured and were taken to hospital by rescue helicopter. The rallye continued after about half an hour. According to the organizer, both injured people have already been released from the hospital. They suffered severe bruises, among other things.
