The funding, part of a $2.5 million statewide investment, will expand coordination among local providers, parent outreach, and workforce development. Hoskins and Meisenheimer said the partnership has already helped launch full-day preschool classes in Dixon, connect 150 agencies through the IRIS referral network, and create the OWL Resource Hub to guide families toward services, all aimed at closing childcare gaps and ensuring equitable access to early learning in the Sauk Valley region.
