Now both back from holidays, Doug and I headed back to Wongulla Lagoon for a morning's carp fishing. The bites were a little slow to start with, but we both managed to get some hefty fish by the end of the session and had a good day out.
Doug finally achieved his wish of hooking (and landing) a decent fish on his retro gear - an antique split cane rod and old Mitchell spinning reel.
I'll be nice and not draw any obvious parallels ......😁
