Lots of testing has been done which allowed for a cool new route. Let's break down some of the findings:
Let's reiterate: UC4 has the special property that some enemies spawn based on where the team has moved to (i.e. if they have crossed certain planes). And it is special in the sense that only Toad is observed. So it only matters where Toad moves.
When doing the glitch what seems to happen is that the attribute that is responsible for triggering the planes moves from Toad to the next available team member that still has not crossed the zone. (If all other team members crossed the first zone the glitch simply does not activate)
What seems to happen is that with the Bounce method you truly skip the first plane and activate the glitch on the second and third (maybe by passing them both at once?)
With the Push method on the other hand the glitch already triggers on passing the first plane. So you don't have to worry about the others anymore.
Push setups for the glitch are highly volatile, but consistent. If you use Super Chance in Turn 1 with the strat shown in the video you can get the glitch 100% of the times. But why use Super Chance if you can just throw your head against the wall until you get the crit to save like 3 seconds :)
