The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Resort in Toronto opened in May 2024 with a pair of shows by Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton and concerts are a key part of The Theatre’s programming. However, it will host a wide range of events, including galas, and UFC and boxing matches – all of which require repurposing the venue effectively and swiftly. That was a primary consideration in outfitting The Theatre - ensuring the 5,000-capacity venue could meet the current needs of incoming artists and events while having the flexibility and agility to adjust and add to its systems and capabilities going forward.
