This tradition of savouring biscuits with Irani Chai or even presenting biscuits as gifts when visiting someone’s home was what brought us to Subhan Bakery located at Old City, Hyderabad to taste some of their very special offerings in this episode of Gourmet On The Road.


Food Lovers’ Editor, Kripal Amanna, meets with Mr Syed Imran, the owner of Subhan Bakery to taste a Muharram delicacy, the Dum Ke Roat made especially during the holy month of Muharram. He also tastes the Hyderabadi essential, Osmania Biscuits, and a cardamom flavoured Chand or Moon Biscuit.
