How to Decide the Size of Footing? | Area of Footing | Design of RCC Footing |





In this video, we will learn how to decide the size of footing.
We will calculate the area of footing using Column Load and Safe Bearing Capacity (SBC) of soil and then finalize the dimensions (Length × Width) of the footing.

Formula Used:

Area of Footing = Column Load / SBC

This method is used to determine the safe and economical size of RCC footing.
