Terrifying! Cirrus SR22 Nose Wheel Shimmy While Landing

A routine VFR flight in a Gen-1 Cirrus SR22 turned scary as a vibration was felt in the cockpit during our Landing Roll. My external camera captured what was going on. The pilot contacted his A&P Mechanic to go over the issue and to inspect and repair the aircraft. I spoke with the owner and pilot of the aircraft in a recent interview to talk about what had happened. Mark, the owner goes over the repairs and why this could have happened.

In this video I show a time lapse flight over Long Island Sound and Southeast Connecticut leading up to the wheel shimmy at Meriden Markham Airport (KMMK).
