Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, located just off the Las Vegas Strip, has a storied history dating back to its opening on July 2, 1969, as the International Hotel. Conceived by businessman Kirk Kerkorian, it was the world's largest hotel at the time, featuring 1,512 rooms.

The resort gained significant fame as the venue for Elvis Presley's residency, which began on July 31, 1969. Over seven years, Presley performed 636 sold-out shows at the hotel, solidifying its place in entertainment history.

In 1970, the property was sold to Hilton Hotels and rebranded as the Las Vegas Hilton in 1971. Under Hilton's management, the resort expanded its facilities and continued to host major entertainers, including Liberace and Barbra Streisand.

The hotel underwent another transformation in 2012, becoming the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. This period was marked by efforts to modernize the property and attract a new generation of visitors.

In 2014, Westgate Resorts acquired the property, renaming it Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The new ownership initiated extensive renovations to revitalize the resort, including updating rooms, enhancing the casino floor, and introducing new dining and entertainment options.

Today, Westgate Las Vegas boasts a variety of amenities, including a large casino, multiple restaurants, a spa, and the renowned Westgate SuperBook, one of the world's largest race and sports books. Its proximity to the Las Vegas Convention Center makes it a popular choice for both leisure and business travelers.
