From Powerlifter to Triathlete – My First Full Week of Triathlon Training (40 Weeks Out)
This is week 1 of my new journey going all in on triathlon.
After years of chasing numbers on the bar, I’ve decided to step away from powerlifting and put all my focus into endurance training, specifically the Ironman 70.3 Swansea in 40 weeks’ time.
In this video, I take you through my first full week of triathlon training as a husband, dad of two, personal trainer, and online coach.
You’ll see how I’m trying to juggle it all, the swimming, biking, running, lifting, family life, and work, while learning what it really takes going all in on a sport that demands time, structure, and patience.
This week’s training:
🏊♂️ 2,900m swim (1 hour)
🚴 3.5 hours on the bike
🏃 3 hours of running
💪 90 minutes of lifting
