This Tacoma was on a one-way trip to the scrapyard... but not if we have anything to say about it! Welcome to the most ambitious project yet on Kooshdaakaa Garage: a full Gen 1 Toyota Tacoma frame-off restoration.

In this first of four epic parts, we're getting our hands dirty with the complete teardown. We'll assess the infamous Toyota frame rust, wrestle with every seized bolt, and see just how far the rot has gone. This is the honest, no-shortcuts start to bringing a classic truck back from the brink.
