At long last! Time and circumstances are allowing me to upload this song translated some six or seven weeks ago! Please forgive me. Here it is!

I am wondering if some unfathomable cosmic or divine force is drawing me towards this unforgettable song. Amidst all the dizzying and endless clamours, this melody is a mercifully soothing relief to one's senses, notwithstanding that it gently calls forth lingering wistfulness.

How does one know that one is truly in love? How does one know that one is truly loving another? How does one know that one is being truly loved by another? What constitutes true love? Is love unconditional? What constitutes unconditional love? Does unconditional love exist? If it does, how desirable, healthy, symbiotic, ethical and viable is it in the context of committed one-on-one adult relationships? Should love be unconditional?

Once again, I find myself being mesmerised more by the melody than by the lyrics of which I am having problems digesting and accepting. Yet, I must admit that this guy is quite magnanimous! I have to discern and comprehend his beloved's "child-like airs for freedom" and "unyielding temperament" before I could even consider entering a relationship with him or her, let alone giving such blind commitment.

Critical lyrical analysis aside, this is another one of 張信哲 Jeff Chang XinZhe's best songs, characteristically and consistently graced by his compelling, sensitive vocals.
