At the end of the day, the specific version of English and the accent you decide to learn don't matter, the important thing is clarity. Language is all about communication after all. Fluency in English is achieved when you can effortlessly and confidently communicate your thoughts, feelings, and ideas. So strive for fluency in whatever version of English motivates and inspires you.
