Located on the northern part of Quirino, Saguday is the province’s smallest town. A fifth-class municipality, it is an agricultural town that is known as “The Rice Granary of the Province of Quirino.” Recognized as being the province’s cleanest and greenest municipality, Saguday is also known as the “Champion Municipality” because of the many awards it has received for its outstanding performance in agriculture, trade and industry. It is a likewise a consistent awardee for good local governance. The home of the original fossilized flower makers, the town hosts Quirino’s fossilized flower village.
