Sweet and Sour Tofu
Ingredients:
1 Block Firm/Extra Firm Tofu, 1 inch cubes, pressed and drained of liquid
1 medium Onion, 1x1 pieces
2 Bell Pepper (any color), 1x1 pieces
1 Tbsp. Ginger, grated
1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. ketchup
2-3 tbsp. corn starch, frying Tofu and for slurry
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Black Pepper Tofu
Ingredients:
Air Fry Tofu
1 Block of Tofu
2 Tbsp. Corn Starch
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp ground Black Pepper
Cooking Spray
Black Pepper Sauce
1 Tbsp. neutral Oil (Safflower used in Video)
1 Tbsp. minced Garlic
1 Tbsp. grated Ginger
1 Tbsp. chopped Red Chilies
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
1 Tsp ground Black Pepper
2 Tsp Sesame Oil
2-4 Tbsp. Green Onions (For Sauce and garnish)
1/4 Cup Freshly Chopped Cilantro (For Sauce and garnish)
Orange Tofu
Ingredients:
For the Tofu:
1 14 ounce block Extra Firm Tofu, pressed
1 Tbsp. Oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
For the Orange Sauce:
1 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp. Ginger, peeled and grated
1 Tbsp. Garlic, finely minced or grated
1 Tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 cup Orange Juice, freshly squeezed
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce or Tamari (gluten free option)
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tsp Orange Zest
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1 Tbsp. cold water
Gochujang Tofu
Ingredients:
1 Block of Extra Firm Tofu, Pressed and Patted Dried
2 Tbsp. Corn Starch
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Oil or Cooking Spray
3 Tbsp. Gochujang Pepper Paste (adjust per spice preference)
3 Tbsp. Ketchup
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Agave Nectar or Honey or Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. Ginger, grated
2-3 Tbsp. Green Onions (optional garnish)
Sesame Seeds (optional garnish)
Braised Basil Tofu
Ingredients:
Tofu
1 Block of firm or extra firm tofu
2-3 Tbsp. Neutral oil for cooking
Sauce
3/4 cup room temperature water
1 Tbsp. corn starch
1 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce adjust more to taste
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. vegetarian oyster sauce or stir-fry sauce
1 Tbsp. Shaoxing wine or other rice wine
1/2 cup packed Thai Basil leaves roughly broken apart
1 small Red Onion or Shallot sliced
2 Birdseye Red Chilies sliced (optional for heat)
3-4 cloves Garlic chopped or minced
Salt and pepper to taste
