The new Tata Safari 2021 has been unveiled in india and we must say that the SUV looks quite sporty. But the design is not its only USP. The New Safari 2021 boasts of some impressive technical specifications as well. Let us check them out.

The 2021 Tata Safari is the automaker's second product after the Tata Harrier to be based on the OMEGA (optimal modular efficient global advanced) architecture, which has been derived Land Rover's D8 platform. The Safari has a monocoque body.

Under the hood of the 2021 Safari, you will find the Kryotec 2.0-litre in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that belts out 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The mill can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT torque converter.

The new Tata Safari gets three different drive modes -- Eco, City and Sport -- and as many terrain response modes -- Normal, Wet, and Rough.

The 2021 Tata Safari comes with a disc brake on each of the four wheels.

The 2021 Tata Safari gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The spare wheel is a 16-inch unit.

The new Tata Safari SUV is available in six variants -- XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+ .

Tata Motors has also launched a special Adventure Persona edition of the Safari Available only in the top-spec XZ+ trim, this edition packs in a handful of exterior and interior additions to make the Safari a more premium offering.

The 2021 Tata Safari Boasts of features like an imposing chrome grille, Xenon HID projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, rear spoiler, twin exhaust, stepped roof and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The cabin of the new Safari is based on the Oyster White colour scheme. The Ash Wood-themed dashboard looks quite premium.

Among the prominent creature comforts inside the cabin of the 2021 Safari are an 8.8-inch floating island touchscreen infotainment system, nine-speaker JBL music system, instrument cluster with 7-inch display, automatic climate control with HVAC, six-way powered driver seat and TPMS. The SUV is equipped with six airbags, all-four disc brakes and electric parking brake. Also available are features like mood lighting, auto-dimming IRVM and a panoramic sunroof.

So far as the dimension is concerned, the safari new model measures 4,661mm in length, 1,894mm in width without mirrors and 1,786mm in height. In comparison, the Tata Harrier is 4,598mm long, 1,894mm wide and 1,706mm tall.

Tata Motors claims that the 2021 Safari has a 447-litre boot with the third row folded. However, the capacity increases to 910 litres with the second and third rows folded down.

2021 Tata safari is available in Both 6 seater and 7 seater option. But 6 option is only available in tata safari top model only.

The bookings for the new Tata Safari 2021 will open in India on February 4.

We are expecting the new Tata Safari price will be some where near to Rs 15 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
