Whilst doing an oil filter service on a 1.5ltr Volvo based petrol engine, which has an 86mm ( 86.6mm ) oil filter housing, the oil filter sockets I was using were slipping. I create a cheap and quick fix to this problem.
Theoretically this would work on any size of oil filter socket for any brand.
