As soon as I saw I got you, I secretly knew already that I wanted to make my present for you with Violet Evergarden, because I remembered that time when we talked about the movie on Leum's chat and you said you really liked it ♡ so once I saw you also listed Violet as a favourite of yours, I felt it really was the one to pick~
As for the song, I have to say I loved every one you had on your playlist!! It was kinda hard to choose at first hahaha but let me hold you in particular gave me such strong Violet vibes, to the point I started picturing scenes inside my head as I was listening to it around the second time already. So I decided to paired that one with Violet ♡
I really, really hope you will like it ♡ I went for drama and romance as much as I could hahaha and it wasn't actually that hard, since Violet itself is the quintessence of drama and romance (especially drama /sobs). Also I had so much fun and motivation editing this amv, so finger crossed that you will enjoy your present as much as I enjoyed making it ♡
We haven't known each other for a long time yet, but we've been chatting from time to time on Leum and to me you're already a dear friend of mine ♡ So I hope we'll get more chances to chat again and have fun together ♡

And now, there are a few more things I would like to say.
But first of all, it is really good to FINALLY BE BACK ಥ‿ಥ OMG
The last time I made and uploaded an amv was /four years ago/, good Lord. It really feels like a century ago.
And let me tell you, I missed this so much. I missed it to the point I started crying a few days ago, in the middle of the night, for how happy I was. This is just how much I missed editing •́ ‿ ,•̀
Back to the video, first time using Violet Evergarden (which is a wonderful and heartbreaking series ♡) and I can say I'm satisfied with how the video turned out ♡ it's really been a while since I last edited a full amv, but it turns out I'm not that out of practice hahah there are parts I absolutely adore (let's go, self-confidenceee) and others that definitely worked better inside my mind, but overall I'm not complaining!
Especially since, fun fact, this is the result of what you could call ✧ blind editing ✧ ( ╹▽╹ ) yup. The movie's file was HUGE (almost 3GB) and Vegas just couldn't process it to save its life. It kept to stop working and the preview wasn't loading at all, to the point I couldn't even CUT SCENES cjdncmsn so I had to keep rendering piece after piece to properly see what the hell I was doing lmao
This video would probably have been out three/four days ago, had Vegas worked properly XD but one way or another WE MADE IT!! ✧
(I believe this is definitely my cue to go and start thinking about getting a new computer XD)

I'm not sure how things will go from now on, but I genuinely hope I won't disappear again! Can't promise it, because life just likes to keep me busy all the time. But to let you all know (at least those who still kinda follow me, even though I've been on radio silence for 4 years ♡), I /want/ to keep editing. I /want/ to keep making videos.
I know that I'm slow as hell, it takes me one or two days doing what most people maybe do in four hours. I don't post that much and there are tons of editors who are definitely more skilled than me ♡
But the truth is I just love making amvs! It makes me happy ♡ and for me this is all that matters.
I hope that what I do makes you happy as well ♡ (even tho I only edit ANGST AND PAIN AND TEARS, you know I love you all, right? ♡♡) and I will always do my best to keep improving and being as much active as life allows me ♡

Right now I'm already working on another amv, so hopefully you'll hear from me again before New Year's Eve or a little later!
