In this video I cover how to troubleshoot this display with a symptom of horizontal lines across the lower 55% of screen as well as flickering. After eliminating the T-con board and following the suggested troubleshooting steps outlined in the @FrugalRepair video, “Repair Hack Explained l How to Fix TV Horizontal Lines - Part 2”, we determine the cause to be contributed to a defective display. Unfortunately making a full repair is not possible without replacing the display, which is not financially feasible as the cost is greater than buying a new smart TV. We use a cleaver trick outlined in the mentioned video to implement the best remedy possible. This process is fairly simple and can extend the functional usage of your set.
