The Hogan Swing and his uncommon work.

Mr Hogan once said:
“The correct hitting (swinging) motion is one unbroken thrust from the beginning of the downswing to the end of the follow through.”

In "Power Golf" Mr. Hogan said "Body action plays an important part in the golf swing when the body turns, as fast as possible, from the Top of the swing to the left. Don't stop your body once you have initiated the swing.  Keep it moving throughout if you want to develop power"

It is so clear how much motion is continuing after Impact, it is almost as if, this work beyond is critical to the strike which happened before it. If one doesn’t work powerfully enough after Impact, one could not have provided enough power for Impact.

So, pay close attention to the work that Mr. Hogan produced after Impact.

A nationally renowned Golf Instructor was once asked:
“How did Mr Hogan produce this trademark finish?”

His answer: Early in his career he was plagued by a severe
hook. He learned to “hold” it off to eliminate that hook.

It is my belief that it was quite the opposite. I think
his Pivot was so dynamic that it produced
tremendous momentum. This momentum
induced his club and arms to act like a runaway train!
