What a treat to meet Irish singer Brid Dooley at the weekend. Many will know I grew up listening to Irish legends The Saw Doctors and always loved Share The Darkness. Never did I think I'd be able to sing the song with the very lady whose sublime voice appears on the original track! But thanks to my banjo student Mike's wife once training as a journalist with Brid's husband (!!) an opportunity for a meeting arose. It was great to chat all things music, Ireland, Saw Doctors and parenting...but I couldn't resist asking her to do THAT song. Hope you all enjoy.
