Put In: We put in slightly above Improvement Branch, but you can put in higher up on the creek. It is reportedly 2x steeper upstream, but is currently completely filled with wood.
Take Out: Fenwick Post Office, off the Cherry River. You can also take out where the confluence is, but taking out at Fenwick post office allows to set shuttle for both this creek, and (Big) Laurel Creek, which joins the Cherry River shortly downstream.
This is a tributary to the Cherry River, which eventually flows into the Gauley River above the Summersville Dam. It is incredibly fun, with just awesome fun rapids. Nothing too big or small, but just fun stuff. A really fun headwater of the Gauley!
