Each summer I spend my time watching kingfishers and swans at a lake not far from my home on the Yorkshire Wolds.

And as I watch their secret lives unfold, I also notice other species also busy getting on with their own lives.

From reed warblers, to long-tailed tits, sparrowhawks to little grebes, there is so much to discover beside these beautiful waterways.
