There can two types of receptor antagonism.
1. Competitive Antagonism wherein agonist and antagonist will compete to bind on a site. Depending upon the binding , this can further be divided into :-
a)Equilibrium type
b)Non-equilibrium type
2.Non-competitive Antagonism wherein agonist and antagonist donot compete to bind.
