Going to Hakone is not an ordinary tourist adventure. You have to ride different modes of transportation to get there. But, you will definitely enjoy the view inside the Romancecar, a luxury train with panoramic windows. The ride will also allow you to see the iconic Mt. Fuji as the train moves. You'll also enjoy the view going up the mountain on board the Hakone - Tozan Line, the oldest Japanese train that uses switchback method to navigate the sharpest curbs and most inclined tracks of Mt. Hakone. Going on the longest gondola ride via the Hakone Ropeway, will give you the chance to look directly down the famous Owakudani Volcanic Valley or Hell Valley. And last but not the least, the Hakone Cruise will bring back memories of kings, emperors and pirate ships as you go around Lake Ashi.
A trip to Mt Hakone is a must when you are in Japan. Eating black egg boiled in water, rich in sulfur and iron, is a once in a lifetime experience. The sheer delight of looking at Mt.
