This is West Coast by Lana Del Rey. This cover was a literal last minute decision right before we wrapped up the list of new videos. My main focus and approach lately in playing has been feel, and really putting my main priority into the pocket. Lana's music has really been something that has helped me grow a ton in this area. She doesn't record to a click, so everything is super organic, and you really have to feel the music, and pay close attention to time. Not to mention she's just my favorite artist period, so this is definitely my happy place :) the tempo changes here give the song such a cool vibe, and I just really love this song.
