My car failed Massachusetts State Inspections due to the left and right marker (parking) lights being out. They quoted me $80 per light to fix it. You can buy the bulbs for $20 at auto zone and the repair takes about 5 minutes per bulb. This video shows how to do it.

Also, my passanger side tail light assembly also had to be replaced due to cracks in it and some water that had leaked in. I was quoted $250 to replace it. This video doesn't show the full repair since I ordered the part online and don't have it yet, but it shows the basics of how you'd replace it. You can buy a replacement tail light here, but MAKE SURE you order it for the correct side. For my car, it was the passenger side that needed to be replaced.
