Government lauded for eliminating cartels in the Coffee industry

Farmers and members of Baragwi Coffee Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County have lauded the Kenya Kwanza administration for its efforts, including coffee reforms and the steps taken to eliminate cartels in the industry. They believe these measures have led to a significant increase in farmers' earnings. In two years, the government has disbursed 4.3 billion shillings to Baragwi, the largest coffee cooperative in the region.
