Knitting Podcast Ep 51|| Do I Wear All Of My Knits?

I do wear all of my knits, and I am enjoying wearing wool and I am learning to like wearing turtleneck sweaters. In today's podcast I am wearing my Foyka Sweater that I finished earlier this year, and this is the first time it has been cold enough for me to wear it. It will get a lot of wear and I will be making more sweaters like this. I also discuss wearing my wrist warmers, socks, cowl, mittens, and scarves.

**Foyka from the pattern book Wilderness Knits, by Linka Neumann. I am using a size 6mm/6.5mm for the main part of the sweater. I am using Lopi Alafosslopi yarn in the colors Arctic Blue, White, and Space Blue.


WIPs:
**Dishcloths: Simple self-drafted pattern that anyone can do garter stitch at the bottom and top, as well as 3 garter stitches on the sides. Then, I knit stockingnet stitch for a bit until I place a garter bump on the right side of the fabric, by knitting on the wrong side of the fabric. I am using Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn I get from Walmart. You can use any size needles for the yarn you choose, and I tend to use US 7(4.5mm) or US8(5mm).

**Set-In Sleeve Cardigan using the pattern book, The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, by Ann Budd. I am using Knit Picks Palette yarn in the color Camel Twist and I am using the Knit Pick Reflections Lace in size US 2 (2.75mm) for a 2x2 ribbing and the body of the cardigan will be knit in US 3 (3.25mm).

**The Vegetable Patch Jacket, by Anni Howard, from the pattern book Homestead Cables by Knit Picks. I am using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in the color Shire Heather. The pattern calls for using the same needles throughout, and I am using Knitter's Pride Zing 4mm.

**Sailor Swift Top, by Kutovakika. I am using Patons Linen, a discontinued yarn. The colors are Sweet Potato and Goldenrod. I am loving making the striped pattern, and this garment will come in handy this winter to wear under my wool sweaters. I am using the recommended needle size US 2.5 (3mm).

**Set-In Sleeve Cardigan using the pattern book, The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, by Ann Budd, using Knit Picks Upcycle Alpaca Blend sport weight in the color Titanium. After some difficulty starting I have switched knitting needles to Knit Pick Reflections Lace in size US 2.5 (3mm) for a 1x1 ribbing and the body of the cardigan will be knit in US 4 (3.5mm). The first sleeve is done, the second has been cast on, and the back has been blocked.
