Joseph was one of Jacob’s twelve sons, and his father loved him very much. Jacob showed his love by giving Joseph a beautiful, colorful coat. This made Joseph’s brothers jealous because they felt their father loved Joseph more than them.
Joseph also had special dreams from God. In his dreams, he saw that one day his family would bow down to him. When Joseph told his brothers about these dreams, they became even more angry.
One day, Joseph’s brothers took him far away from home and sold him as a slave. They told their father that Joseph was gone, and Jacob was very sad. Even though Joseph was treated badly, God was still with him.
This story teaches children about God’s plan, forgiveness, patience, and how God can turn bad situations into good ones.
