A beautiful juvenile fledgling red-shouldered hawk comes to the nest looking for scraps of food and then perches in the nest tree before flying off. Samson flies in with a headless fish and looks around and waits for Romy to come to the nest to claim it but he never does. The adult Red-shouldered hawk can be heard loudly as Samson quickly eats his fish and then heads to lookout point - check out his huge crop! The young hawks have fledged now and the parents are protecting their territory and can be heard in the distance as Samson alerts to the flybys before he takes off himself. This is my last footage of our wonderful eagle family of Samson, Gabrielle, Jules and Romy. I wish them all safe travels & hope to see Samson and Gabrielle back in the Fall.
