Digital Integration's MS-DOS Tornado campaign single mission flight

This clip contains the simulated flight in a Gr-4 IDS Tornado
with mission planning, payload setting, target hunting, bolting for a loooong time and landing with reserve fuel still on board (that's the red flashing FUEL warning [in the backseat view mode] right after landing, indicating that the last 1000 pounds of fuel just started to get in use). It shows perfectly the multirole purpose/ capability of the Tornado succeeding versus enemy aircraft and AAA/ SAM-tanks.

Digital Integration's Tornado was (one of) the best Flight Sim(s) for MS-DOS in 1993. Nowadays the community around it grows once more with a revival attempt by Frankie Kam and Co.

Level 1 camaigns always set 1 target to destroy, but you are allowed to delete that one and designate 1-3 (or more with LGB's) freely on your own.
Since only 3 air-to-ground-packages can be loaded I choose ALARMs and retarded bombs and placed them manually without using waypoints X and Y, because of some minor automatic pylon assigning issues (the 8 bomb places below the body are in favor of the automatic weapon slot filler, so this would leave me with one ALARM less than possible with manual weapon placement). Air targets like enemy CAP actually are such a low value target, it would have been best to get at least 2 more ALARMS instead of sidewinders.

The dreadful chase with enemy "AC's" (aircraft) starts at 4:34 and ends at 10:35. The first one gets distracted by friendly / allied CAP (combat air patrol). 2nd was shot down by sidewinder, the 3rd one finally followed back into allied airspace and quits the hunt because of the active patriot system getting a lock.
