The Flying Scotsman (loco number 60103), is unquestionably the most famous steam locomotive in the world. When we found out that the Flying Scotsman was pulling the Christmas Dalesman, and that it was taking the Settle to Carlisle route, passing over the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct, we simply had to plan a trip there, and keep our fingers crossed that the weather was kind to us. As it happened, it had been raining only 10 minutes before the Flying Scotsman arrived, but fortunately it stopped raining for us. It was quite breezy, but I was able to get aerial footage.
