I've always been interested in old-school techno hardgroove, but somehow I never explored it with pocket operators. Until this year's Dekmantel, when I saw the incredible Regal86 live, I was inspired and felt that it was time to do something with the PO-33 KO!. There's something magical about the rhythm and groove of an old good hardgroove techno.
When I started composing this music, I quickly realized that the PO33 is in fact perfect for exploring this genre of music. We can easily shape and cut the rhythms, add effects as if they were handmade, almost in a primitive and raw way. The way good techno should be. The result is here.
