Opposing war is a duty that brooks no delay. As I cited last month in the program, based on confidential and top-secret documents from the Chinese Communist Party’s military and diplomatic departments, the Xi Jinping leadership is now dominated by a war-oriented mindset—one that sees war between China and the United States as inevitable. It follows the pattern used by Mao Zedong during the Korean War: fighting while negotiating, negotiating while fighting, pursuing interests through struggle. This kind of military-political-diplomatic thinking, which prepares for confrontation with anyone at any time and in any place, is extremely dangerous.
