Dyna-Glo 15K-25K BTU Propane Convection Heater Review

The Dyna-Glo 15K-25K BTU Propane Convection Heater is a small but mighty heater. It’s compact, easy to use and it throws a lot of heat fast. I hooked up the included hose from the heater to my 20lb. propane tank and I was surprised to find there was no electrical connection to plug in. This makes the heater more versatile without having to place the unit near an outlet. I did find it a bit tricky to ignite the heater. There is no igniter button on this unit. The igniter switch is built into the heat adjustment knob and it is a little tricky to ignite the heater. I believe it will get easier the more I use the heater as I will get more familiar with the knob and its settings. After getting the heater started, I found the heater to throw a lot of heat. It puts out a lot more heat than my other small portable propane heater. The Dyna-Glo heater quickly warmed up my shop to a comfortable temperature. This heater will be great for those fall or winter projects in the garage and in my shop. You do have to have ample ventilation while using the heater to avoid CO2 poisoning. I would either leave the overhead garage door or a pedestrian door open/ajar while the heater is on. We have a dart board in our main garage and often have dart game parties in the garage. This heater will be perfect for the colder fall and winter night dart games. The only dislike I found was that the heater is so small and light, it slides around while you are igniting it or while you are shutting the unit off. It would be nice to have anti-slip feet or a handle somewhere on the unit to keep it from sliding around while you are adjusting the settings. Other than that I really like the small heater and I look forward to adding some much needed heat to the garage and shop during those fall and winter projects and parties.
