Duo Deconet - SPAIN & MEXICO : Where time meets both cultures

Duo Deconet celebrates the musical insights of Mexican and Spanish composers as innovators of their times. Music by Pablo Sarasate, Enrique Granados. Manuel M. Ponce, Mario Kuri Aldana and Leonardo Coral. Australian premieres by Federico Mompou and Julian Carrillo and world premiere by Manuel Ruiz del Corral.
Duo Deconet are considered the chamber musician pioneers of the 21st century for Latin American music in Australia. Their aim is to promote the music of a new generation of established living Latin American composers, regularly offering premieres in the Asia-Pacific region. The contemporary and eclectic repertoire performed by Duo Deconet, incorporates the vast and amazing 20th and 21st century repertoire from: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Mongolia, Panama, Peru, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Duo Deconet is constantly researching for collaborations with musicologists and composers around the world. The new generation includes: Sadiel Cuentas, Eddie Mora, Miguel Del Águila, Juan J. Colomer, Paul Dessene, Leonardo Coral, Carlos Salomón, Alejandro Corona, Eduardo Gamboa, Luis C. Figueroa, Guido López, Jorge Grundman, Alexis Aranda and Manuel Ruiz del Corral.
