The 9 provides an important (and the exclusive one) connection between the Trolley network and the famous theme park in San Diego, the Sea World. This route goes further into Pacific Beach on weekdays, but on weekends it terminates at Sea World.
We are onboarding this 2011-year C40LFR, one of the more "classic" buses in the fleet compared to all Gilligs for 40-footers. This bus has Cummins Westport ISL G engines with ZF 6HP594C transmission, which makes this bus very nice with the sound!
