Martin is often considered one of the all-time great drummers of the metal genre. He has recorded one album with Amon Amarth, and spent almost 10 years with the influential progressive metal band Opeth, recording seven records with the band. Since 2010, Martin has been the drummer for SOEN, releasing six records and on September 1st he will unleash the band's seventh effort called Memorial.
In this interview, Martin talks about his legacy as a member of three successful and influential metal bands, how being on the road helps his family life, and the greatest moment of his career.
