The recently concluded Tri-Nation Cricket Series 2025 at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, witnessed impeccable security arrangements, ensuring the safety of thousands of spectators and dignitaries. Over 5000 law enforcement personnel were deployed across various critical locations, including the stadium, airport, routes, hotels, and parking areas.
The dedicated security staff, including personnel from the Security Division, SSU commandos, traffic police, special branch officers, district police, and other law enforcement agencies, displayed exemplary professionalism in managing the large crowd and maintaining law and order throughout the event.
DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, expressing his appreciation for the got personnel's outstanding performance, conveyed a heartfelt ‘Shabash’ for their extraordinary dedication, especially considering the intense security environment and weather conditions during the matches. He acknowledged the personnel's commitment to ensuring a secure and smooth experience for both the spectators and players.
The deployment of advanced security measures, including snipers at sensitive locations and the presence of a's specialized SWAT team on standby, further reinforced the security arrangements. The presence of SSU’s Special Command and Control Bus for continuous monitoring and law enforcement ensured swift responses to any emerging situation.
Dr. Maqsood Ahmed thanked the entire security apparatus for their tireless efforts, noting that the successful completion of the event reflected the trust and cooperation between the Sindh Government, law enforcement agencies, and the general public.
